TV and Burgers

What a wild night.  Not so much on Survivor, but with the Rays battling back from a 7-0 deficit to win in 12 innings combined with the collapse of the Red Sox gave Tampa Bay the American League Wild Card.  Meanwhile, the Phillies played hard while respecting the integrity of the game and knocked the Braves out of the playoffs giving the Cardinals the National League Wild Card.  I will say that I loved seeing Carl Crawford miss that fly ball against Baltimore .  It’s poetic justice for spurning the Rays and signing with the enemy.  What a night! Survivor was fun too, but I will admit that I was a bit preoccupied.  However, our episode began with Christine whining about Coach, but then again that’s something we all have done at one time or another.  She then compared him to King Farouk, who was the King of Egypt from 1936 until he was overthrown and exiled to Italy in 1952.  Christine obviously has something here because I think a lot of us would like to see Coach e

Surprisingly enough I still have never watched Dancing with the “Stars”.  One would think that with my fondness for scantily clad beautiful women that I would certainly enjoy a show that features that on a weekly basis.  Thus far I have not been allured by their charms.  But nevertheless that will not stop me from breaking down this season’s line up of “stars”.  My definition of a star is wildly different than those of the producers of this show.  Bottom line is that if I would recognize them in public and want to get their autograph or a photo with them then they are a star.  If not?  Well… So what I did was to look up the names only of the participants this fall.  I did not look up any more about them other than their name because a real star should have name recognition.  Thus here is my look at whether or not they have any stars this season.  Ron Artest aka Metta World Peace :  This is a basketball player though I could not tell you for whom he has played for.  I’

Brandon Hantz  Mikayla, the enchanting siren, was at it again.  Taunting young Odysseus Hantz to come on over and be seduced by her feminine charms.  Couldn’t you hear her singing the songs as she tempted our young, God loving and married Brandon to her side?  No?  Neither could I.  Never has there been a more one sided relationship.  Well, perhaps never is a very strong word as I recall many relationships in high school that were decidedly one sided.  Some of which the girl never actually knew that I was in a relationship with her and still more that the girl did not even know of my existence.  But that’s exactly what Brandon has with Mikayla.  I don’t think she has shown one iota of interest in young Brandon.  I’m sure she looks at him the same way girls in my high school looked at me.  She probably even says the same thing that they said, “Ewwww!”  Simply put, Brandon cannot control his lustful feelings and has simply become a stalker.  Once again Brandon, there will

A new season of Survivor has begun and that means it is time for Sir Griffin to begin blogging once again.  I have to say that I really like this cast of characters.  It has everything one would want, but most of all three extremely hot babes.  Again, I renew my call for a season of nothing but hot babes, but I digress. After our 16 new castaways rowed ashore, Jeff informed them that they would be aided by two former castaways. Yes, I'd stare at Mikayla's boobs too.  Immediately it turned into a chorus of "not Russell" which young Brandon Hantz (who based on the on screens displays apparently does not work because his occupation was listed as Russell's nephew) found amusing.  We learned that Brandon has tattoos that say "Hantz" that he does not want anyone to see thus he plans on keeping his shirt on the entire time.  We also learned that Brandon has a boob fetish, but more on that later.
