TV and Burgers

Although it is one of the only two reality shows that I regularly watch and enjoy, I rarely write about The Amazing Race.  Today I will right that wrong, not with a recap per se, but rather my early impressions on this, the 24th installment of the popular series.  I have to say that when I first saw the lineup for this seasons all-stars I was a bit underwhelmed.  We had a couple of teams that were already running for the third time and frankly only one team of hot women.  When it comes to TAR, as it is know, you need at least two teams of beautiful women.  That should go without saying.  In addition to that oversight I saw that we would once again be stuck with one of the most annoying teams of all time, twin sisters Natalie & Nadiya.  Thankfully they were quickly eliminated by coming in dead last in episode one.  I could hear the cheers from around the world when it happened.  I was also thrilled that one of my favorite t...

Good day my friends, 2010 was yet another great year in television.  We saw great shows, lousy shows and more reality shows than anyone ever wanted and yet, through it all we watched.  Sometimes Sir Griffin even watches crap, but I try to avoid too much negativity and don’t post much of that.  So today I am going to give you my Top 10 of 10.  Now you may find my list a bit unusual for the following reason: I will not be using any numbering system for my selections.  I will be placing the shows in alphabetical order as I don’t think ranking them is a good idea.  I enjoy all of these shows individually and to compare them to each other is not fair to me, you or the shows in general.  I like them all.  End of story.  So without further ado I present to you Sir Griffin’s 10 of 10. Good day my friends, Another season of The Amazing Race has come to a close and I have to say that I really enjoyed it.  Not just because there were a lot of hot women this season, but also because there was no team that I just completely hated.  I know a lot of people enjoy it when a season has a good villain, but I like it best when they are all at least somewhat likable.  True, I did not care for Chad at all as he was quite the spiteful jerk, but I liked Stephanie.  And I never liked Thomas this season, but Jill was so cute and sweet that I could not hate the team.  Thomas was such a putz in his attitude and the way he treated her that it was tough to like him.  So overall we had three final teams and only one jerk left and that jerk was Thomas.
